In heart of rural Nicaragua, deep in the jungle, Yamileth Chavarria has founded a citizens' radio station with a unique mission: the fight against the all-prevalent domestic violence. A self-styled "talkative witch", Yamileth goes on the air daily to chattily denounce the local men who abuse their wives and children. In doing so, the radio host hopes to take a stand against the failure of the judicial authorities, who seldom if ever bring charges in cases like these - even when they end in murder. Yamileth herself has often been threatened, but refuses to be intimidated.
